OFF ROAD - EXAMPLES

A short ride from Sant Angelo (approx 5 kms) there is an area specifically designated for activities. At the entrance there is a small bar and “public swimming pool” with a large parking area. However its primary purpose is to introduce you to the start of an exciting ride through largely unspoilt terrain, trees, unmade paths, and streams offering a combination of testing conditions.

In addition to the routes directly accessible from Sant Angelo and involving only short road routes before following off-road options we can highlight a large number of routes slightly further afield. For these we can offer transport to and from the “start point”. For example Lago di Fiastra where tracks take you around a stunning lake.

Or alternatively visit the hill town of Sarnano and complete one of the defined routes following clearly marked paths

The Central location of Sant Angelo ensures that coastal and more strenuous mountain routes lie within a short drive. The possibility exists to provide transport to and/or collection from these areas. This will enable you to plan day trips in which you can concentrate the cycling activity and enjoy other aspects of the chosen location.
